OOC Information

The Duskhaven Rangers have served the forest long before Duskhaven was built.  They are the warriors of the wood elves who protect their forest, the animals and themselves from hostile threats.  They are skilled in traversing through the forest via the canopy, blending in with the foliage and quietly appearing when least expected.

Once the Village of Duskhaven was built, the Rangers became protectors of the village.  They answered to the Mayor, helping with keeping the village streets safe and clear of riff raff.  The Rangers are good of heart, they try to help those who are in distress or are lost.  Those who are troublemakers are investigated and put in a cell for judgement by the Mayor.

The Rangers uphold the 6 tenants of the village.  They also assist at the farmer markets to make sure everything goes smoothly.  They will also help the Hunters when needed to take a census of the animal population.

The rangers have sworn oaths of fealty to the sister goddess of the Bow for as long as they can remember.  In return, she blesses them with safe travel, precision with their bows, and freedom that few can understand.

Ranking order

Mayor of DuskhavenThe highest rank and the only one that cannot be earned as a player. As Localer Lord, the Mayor of Duskhaven has the highest order of command.Currently accompanied by: Xiole OakLeaf
MarshalThe rank of Marshal is is given to the Ranger who wishes to work side by side with the Mayor. Who will help to command the rangers when the Mayor needs to perform official business or is otherwise indisposed but answers directly to the Mayor for orders.
SergeantThe rank of Sergeant is earned by those who wish to take the path of leadership. A sergeant will run the day to day patrols, organize the rangers for training, and helping with the distressed and the lost.
RangerThis is the rank earned by all members after a month as a Novice.
Novice RangerAll who first join the rangers, are given a trial of a month before becoming officially Duskhaven Rangers. Once they pass the month trial, they are then promoted.
