We heard you on your frustrations about some of the travel options in regards to ‘Forced Travel Time’ so with that in mind…
**New Sim Feature**
Crystal Pylon Hubs have been added to each major Locale that will allow you to “portal” between each location, sort of like Aetherhubs in Final Fantasy. Simply walk up, interact… select a destination you have attuned with, voila!
**Attunement**
What is attunement? This is tied to the PrimNetwork Achievement system. You will have to have visited the location in question at least once to have received the achievement related to visiting a specific zone, which will “attune” you to that location’s Crystal Pylon.
**What about self-teleportation or self-portaling once I have this anchor point?**
Per the recent magic rules update back in Q3 of 2025, mid-summer, users cannot conjure such methods by themselves. A very specialized ritual is required to set up anchor points for portals that allow zipping between predetermined points, like coordinates on a map. These Crystal Pylons are the **ONLY** method within the Norune System upon which players may “Teleport IC”. I am not counting the portals in the landing hub since the hub is never an IC area.
